"Some Guy"

 

Funny story behind this one. A few weeks ago, I signed up for a portrait drawing class. I'll freely admit, I'm beyond horrible at drawing the human figure and faces. So I welcomed the idea of improving my ability to draw people. Well the instructor did absolutely no instructing. He simply gave us some supplies and let us at it. He'walked around and give us some encouragement, but didn't teach us a single thing. This is my vain attempt at a self portrait. It looks like someone, just not me!

that she thought it had a Zen quality to it.

in Kalamazoo, Michigan if I remember correctly.

I found one of the most amazing Lily gardens a couple weeks ago. It had color combinations I've never seen before. So I took a bunch of pix and will be doing watercolors of them in the next couple weeks.
