"Salmon Sez"

 

Once again, you just never know where an idea for a painting is going to come from. In this case, it was the seafood display at the grocery store. These are a couple of salmon steaks. 

"Sonnenberg Mansion"

 

I got a commission to paint this mansion in Upstate New York. I was pretty faithful to what it looks like, however I was asked to add some flowering trees to the scene. I think it turned out pretty well. 

Have to see what my "patron" feels about it.

"Sketchy Cat"

 

I haven't done a painting of HRH in a while. So I thought I'd do a loose one of her. 

Then it prompted me to do a series of wild cats. Look for those in the next few days.

"UP Light"

 

Not sure exactly where this one is located, but I do know it in the
Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Stunningly beautiful spot, for sure.

"Rose' is a Rose'"

 

While dining at a pub in Oxford, I notice the magical way the sun was hitting a bottle of Rose'. 

It was just this lovely little scene that I knew I had to paint.
