I was lucky enough to witness this magnificent sunset. I've never sen anything quite like it. 

The orange in the clouds was absolutely breathtaking! 

"Waverley Train Station"

 

Just a beautiful Victorian era train station in the heart of Edinburgh. 

"Black Callas"

The third one in the series. I'm not sure if I'm going to do any more of these. We'll see.

 

"Anthropoid"

 

A screen grab from the movie of the same title. Excellent movie of you're looking for something good to watch. It's about the assassination of the number three general in the Third Reich. 

This is a scene in Prague, where most of the film takes place. 

"Johnnie's Bench"

 

An attractive little scene I found d whilst walking around one of my favorite cities--York. 

"Upside-Down Girl"

 

This is my sweet little girl Lizzie. When she hits the hay, she really zonks out. 

And some of the positions she gets into are pretty crazy! 

"Firecrackers Screen Grab"

 

I tried to watch this horrible movie a couple weeks ago. It was the rare film I didn't finish However, there was this cool scene that I did a screen grab of. And this is the painting I turned it into. Warning, avoid this movie at all costs.

The magnificent York Minster. I think I might have to go back and do a bit of correcting. The reference photo I used didn't show the second story clearly. So there are some arches I left out. It's not really a bad thing, since they partially blocked the view of the windows. 

"Steel Mill #5"

 

One more painting of a steel mill. I'd love to go inside one of these magnificent structures. I've heard there's one in Pittsburgh that's been turned into a museum. Have to check it out one day.

"Detectorists"

 

One of my favorite shows of all time is "Detectorists." If you''re into off-beat British comedies, I highly recommend it. In the beginning of every show, there are several beautiful shots of pastoral scenes. I did  a screen grab of one and turned it into a watercolor. 

"Dating Amber"

 

I saw the film "Doing Amber" several weeks ago and really enjoyed it. I did a screen grab from the movie and turned it into a water color. Not surprising the film had great cinematography 

and some beautiful scenery!

"Domin Clan Mask #1"

 

I bought a 40-page mixed-media sketchbook to do a series of Inuit masks. After I finished the series, I realized the book actually had 42 pages. So I decided to make up a couple of masks. The next two are what I came up with. Now on to other neglected projects!
