"Fall Colors"

There was this huge crate of gourds the last time I visited Costco. I thought it would make a perfect fall painting. Not sure I was successful in doing the shading, especially on the lighter ones. 

Need to work on that. 

 

"Glazed & Confused"

 

Spotted this tasty offering at Kroger's a few weeks ago. It was a little challenging doing dark chocolate doughnuts on a dark tray. But I think it turned outlay. 

"Mack Ave. Sunset 9/27/24"

This was one of the most spectacular sunsets I've seen in a long time. It was actually even more intense about ten minutes earlier. I was sitting in out tv room when I noticed the entire sky was bright orange. I grabbed my phone and headed down the street to document it. By the time I got there, this is what it looked like. Still pretty dramatic!
