There's a beautiful children's book store in our town. I found this back room which has a stage for book readings. It must be a magical place to open up the world of reading for young kids!

During intermission at a Detroit Symphony concert, I was hanging out in the upper lobby. I spotted this building across the street and it looked so dramatic at night, I figured I just had to do a painting of it. So I snapped a pic of it with my phone, and here you are!
