I'm absolutely terrible with human figures and faces. So I found this tutorial on painting figures in watercolors and I did the exercise. This is the end product. Actually surprised myself with this one.

Found this peaceful scene on our recent trip to England. It was just a beautiful, 

quiet place outside Peterborough Cathedral--a magnificent Gothic church. 

One of the many wonderful things about Great Britain.

stone circles on the islands off the coast of Scotland.

Found this image on line and I felt it deserved to be committed to watercolors. 

England is just full of these beautiful old structures.

A beautiful scene from a movie filmed in New Zealand. 

Unfortunately, the movie was horrible. Just an absolute bloodbath.

I thought I'd do a painting of some old time candy bars from my youth. 

The packaging was so colorful--no doubt to encourage kids to by them!
