The clouds ended up a bit exaggerated but not by much. 

The sky in the original photo was pretty bright.

I'm learning to use gouache to repair paintings The rocks in the foreground were initially painted brown. They looked totally fake. So I mixed up some gouache after the painting was dry and went back in and painted the rocks grey. Looks quite a bit more realistic now.
