"Birch Run"


Here's another one from our weekend at Pinery. A friend of mine observed that my brushwork was a lot looser and I said that that was due, mainly to the fact that the photo I took was out of focus!  From the look of it, maybe I should do this more ofter. It turned out okay.

"Detroit Dusk"

  One of the more dramatic sunsets I've seen in a while. 

  • "A Sliver of Sunshine"
      Here's our cat Lizzie, on the landing catching a bit of afternoon sunshine. 
  • "Pavo"
    This is the resident cat at the Belle Isle Conservatory. He's an excellent mouser,  a friendly soul, and a handsome devil to boot.   
  • "Morning Rug"
      Spotted this unusual scene early one morning. I decided it was worth committing to canvas.
