"Wolcott Mill"

Photographed this beautiful historic mill last year and I finally got around to painting it. It you're ever in the area, Wolcott Mill Metropark is definitely worth a visit. Nice trails through varied terrain. And the mill is supposed to be cool--it's always closed when we hike there. I think this would make a nice note/post card

"(Great) Lake District"

Just another beautiful area of England.  

  • "A Sliver of Sunshine"
      Here's our cat Lizzie, on the landing catching a bit of afternoon sunshine.

    This is the resident cat at the Belle Isle Conservatory. He's an excellent mouser,  a friendly soul, and a handsome devil to boot.

      Spotted this unusual scene early one morning. I decided it was worth committing to canvas.
