"Beets"


Just a quickie Veg-A-Sketch of some beets. If I had to do them over again, I would have made them a bit darker. But I think they turned out okay.

"Halvsies!"

  Spotted these at the grocery store. The color of the  blood oranges was s intense, I just had to paint them.

  • "A Sliver of Sunshine"
      Here's our cat Lizzie, on the landing catching a bit of afternoon sunshine. 
  • "Pavo"
    This is the resident cat at the Belle Isle Conservatory. He's an excellent mouser,  a friendly soul, and a handsome devil to boot.   
  • "Morning Rug"
      Spotted this unusual scene early one morning. I decided it was worth committing to canvas.
