"Farm. Field. Fog."

Went out for a hike in Amish Country early one morning. It was a warm and foggy day and the countryside was absolutely gorgeous. What a peaceful and meditative walk. When you live in the city, you really appreciate how healing and meditative a country stroll can be.

"Perfect Parfait"

  Found these attractive treats at the grocery store  and thought they'd make an interesting still life. 

  • "A Sliver of Sunshine"
      Here's our cat Lizzie, on the landing catching a bit of afternoon sunshine.

    This is the resident cat at the Belle Isle Conservatory. He's an excellent mouser,  a friendly soul, and a handsome devil to boot.
