Hiked for the first time in ages at Metro Beach. The sky was so dramatic I just had t paint it. I found this big ol' tree in the marsh and the dead foliage just added to the beauty of the scene.

"Coming Home in the Dark"
A beautiful scene from a movie filmed in New Zealand. Unfortunately, the movie was horrible. Just an absolute bloodbath.

This is the resident cat at the Belle Isle Conservatory. He's an excellent mouser, a friendly soul, and a handsome devil to boot.
