Project Hail Mary"

 

I saw a painting on InstaGram the other day and it inspired me to do this one. I was going to do all jagged edges but it turned out a lot more fluid and swirly looking. When I was done I needed to name it something. I'd just finished reading "Project Hail Mary", which I thoroughly enjoyed, so I thought I'd borrow the title.

"Detroit Fire Engine #48"

  Not totally happy with the way this one turned out.  I guess I was a little impatient and rushed it. 

  • "A Sliver of Sunshine"
      Here's our cat Lizzie, on the landing catching a bit of afternoon sunshine.

    This is the resident cat at the Belle Isle Conservatory. He's an excellent mouser,  a friendly soul, and a handsome devil to boot.

      This is a self-portrait depicting the outrage I feel about the recent presidential election. I've thoroughly given up on this country....
