"Chestnut"

 

The first "sketch" paintings I've done in a while. I found this flowering branch of a chestnut tree on the sidewalk, so I decided to paint it. The color was hard to figure. It was sort of a creamy pink, if that makes any sense. I think I came close, but maybe I'll have to give it another whirl down the road.

"Presque Isle" Lighthouse"

  Just one more in the series. I've been having fun  playing around with the skies in my watercolors.
