Before the Belle Isle Conservatory closed for major repairs, I managed to take a few pix as reference for a few more paintings. This painting of a banana tree is the first of them.

This is the resident cat at the Belle Isle Conservatory. He's an excellent mouser, a friendly soul, and a handsome devil to boot. -
