I thought I'd do a looser painting of some flowers. I got these roses for our anniversary, and with the way the sunlight was hitting them, they practically glowed.

This is the resident cat at the Belle Isle Conservatory. He's an excellent mouser, a friendly soul, and a handsome devil to boot. -
Spotted this unusual scene early one morning. I decided it was worth committing to canvas.
