Once again, you just never know where an idea for a painting is going to come from. In this case, it was the seafood display at the grocery store. These are a couple of salmon steaks.

As I was leaving a party at the Aquarium, I noticed this dramatic sky. And the glow of the Conservatory added to the beautiful scene!
