This one gave me some trouble. I was almost done with it when I took a good look at it. Somethings just wasn't right. (You're probably saying, something still isn't right) Anyway, the flower on the right had no definition and you couldn't tell which direction it was facing. So I completely redid it and it turned out, well, okay I guess. It really made me appreciate what masters like Van Gogh can do. And I've come to the realization that flowers ain't easy.
My love of the arts began early on in life and was greatly influenced by an inspiring photography teacher in high school. I began teaching myself to paint in 2019 and have had my work exhibited in numerous shows around the country. One of the joys of being an artist is looking at the world in totally different ways and discovering a painting or photograph in a million unexpected places. For inquiries: dominmark@yahoo.com
